Skilled Trades Training in Toronto & the GTA

Hands-on, job-ready training in renovation, landscaping, and property maintenance, no experience required. Forge your future with The Reno Academy.

Practical Trade Training That Leads to Real Work

The Reno Academy is a Toronto-based skilled trades school built around one goal: getting people into paid, in-demand work. We skip the theory-heavy classroom and put tools in your hands from day one. Our training focuses on the renovation, landscaping, and property maintenance skills that employers across the Greater Toronto Area are hiring for right now, taught in small groups, at a pace that works for real beginners.

Whether you’re starting your first job, changing careers, new to Canada, or returning to work after time away, you’ll leave with practical skills, the confidence to use them safely, and a recognized certificate to show for it.

What Graduates Are Saying

“The skills and knowledge I gained from the Reno Academy course are genuinely valuable. Everything we covered is directly applicable to real renovation jobs, especially on how to interview! I feel much more confident and prepared to start working in the trades.”

Kabir, Site Squad Bootcamp LE Graduate

“I really enjoyed getting my own set of tools and then immediately learning how to use and handle them properly. The hands-on practice made all the difference. It wasn’t just theory, we were actually doing the work from day one.”

Jonathan, Site Squad Bootcamp LE Graduate

“I’m really happy to have had mentors like Paul and Justin. They were patient, encouraging, and shared so many practical tips from their real-world experience. They truly care about your success.”

Featured Program: Site Squad Bootcamp LE

Our flagship course, the Site Squad Bootcamp LE, is an intensive two-day program that takes you from “never held a pry bar” to job-ready. In 16 hands-on hours you’ll learn professional job-site conduct, tool identification, safe lifting, demolition and cleanup, and a full outdoor sequence, power washing, deck and fence repair, and sealing or painting, plus a dedicated interview-skills module so you can walk into the hiring conversation with confidence. These are the seasonal services GTA homeowners pay for every spring and summer.

  • Adults on social assistance and persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities, delivered with patient, supportive, one-step-at-a-time instruction and small class sizes.
